I can agree that the existing laws have been made to obfuscate the immigration process and even promulgate bigotry to people from Mexico specifically - none of which makes the term "illegal alien" incorrect or bigotry.
Get off the PC horse and start calling a cigar a cigar. If anybody immigrates illegally it's illegal. To your point, if those laws are unconstitutional then by all means FIX THEM. You'll have a much higher chance at success at that than trying to word-smith a better description.

It would seem that one who immigrates through channels legally would be an
immigrant or LEGAL IMMIGRANT.
So then wouldn't one who crossed the border illegally also be an immigrant or
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT.

you are correct that laws written by alec and passed by corrupt politicians paid off by the koch brothers, monsanto, and pharmaceutical companies mean nothing to me.

'legally' begins to not matter at all when the method for creating laws, and selective enforcement of those laws, favor profits over people. profits of pharmaceutical companies, private prisons ... are the main concern these days in law enforcement and in the writing and passing of new laws.

I assume the Post will stop referring to felons as such because it might cause a girl to cry if her loved one were referred to in that way. What a bunch of PC crap. And you wonder why newspaper readership is down when you practice this kind of nonsense. You're supposed to be impartial in your reporting but are anything but.

First of all, the Inca lived in South America. Research it. They did. It turns out that there's more than one country down there.

Second of all, the Maya and Aztecs aren't the ONLY indigenous people in Mexico. The number of Spanish that actually immigrated to their empire was always only a few. Just enough to hold control and then it still wasn't enough so the Spanish set up a caste system that allowed for indigenous people to "become more Spanish" because their kids could gain a caste rank. People in the 3/4 caste could produce children and their children were full blooded Spanish according to official law.

They didn't do this because they didn't want racial purity. They did this because there weren't enough "Spanish" people to hold control of the land otherwise.

As for trying to justify a genocide by pointing to violence between different indigenous groups (As though Europeans never killed each other? Please.) when the US conducted an intentional campaign of elimination that included wars, massacres, kidnapping children and forcibly erasing their culture through boarding schools.

I hope a donkey kicks you in the nuts hard enough that your ancestors can't have kids and the sack of shit that is you trying to justify genocide wouldn't fuckin' exist. The world would be a better place.
